Axial and appendage skeleton
It was a continuous work from last sessions concentrating on axial and appendage skeletons. Last time we were creating a combination of 8 movements thinking about axial skeleton. I found it quite difficult, because movements become quite slow, but clear. I was focusing on my pelvic or skull leading and found some other ways to move not giving the spine so much pressure, keeping it opened. Watching other people compositions and learning them was really useful, because i had an opportunity to find that this kind of moving looks really nice and fluent and it gave me ideas how can i practice on moving with my axial skeleton myself.
We also worked on appendage skeleton. The interesting thing is that moving including appendage skeleton is totally different from moving only with axial skeleton. It makes movements even more fluent, takes much more space and speed up. Noticing appendage skeleton moving itself helped me to find some new ways to move and changed the quality of moving. At the end of session I was improvising thinking about both appendage and axial skeletons, which was quite hard to keep in mind both of them, but the quality and difference of movements before this session was quite obvious.
